“BMF Port Burgas” JSC is pleased to present you a new way to make our work more productive and more efficient.
Contemporary tendencies of the production require constant drive to improve logistics and ways of handling of cargoes.
Today BMF Port Burgas is proud to have a unique on the Bulgarian market installation for the stuffing and stripping of bulk cargo in 20′ containers. This new way of handling bulk cargo not only reduces its cost but also provides a higher quality of the service:
Retain the integrity and product quality.
For grain cargoes, for example, it means less broken seeds, which is a prerequisite for a higher value of the final product;
Maximizing the average weight of each stuffing;
Faster stuffing and stripping;
Creates a safer workplace by remote control and built-in security features.
What is the Tilt exactly?
The installation consists of:
A bunker structure with a flap for dispensing the material and rolling chute.
Lifting platform for weighing with integrated precision scale, which manages the dosing process.
Tilt: What’s particular about the installation is the angle of elevation of the container. After precise calculations we have established that in this exact inclination we can use a maximum payload. There is no other kind of stuffing, which gives such results.
How we process the cargo?
A bulkhead is installed in the door opening of the container. It is a movable vertical construction that provides safe access to the cargo and reduces its leakage through the doors.
The container is positioned on the lifting platform for weighing sideways, with a forklift or richstaker.The operator locks the container to the mobile ramp and then enters in the container number and the information required for the scales note, which will be printed later / Type, brand and No of measuring equipment, validity of the certificate of calibration, gross, tare, net, date and time, name of the operator /.
The door of the container is opened and the platform lifts the container.
After reaching the working position, the mobile chute automatically descends. The flap is opened and the actual stuffing starts.
For the stuffing we use hydraulic excavator, which pours cargo in the receiving bin.
Upon reaching the predetermined maximum weight the scales automatically closes the flap and the chute is lifted.
The container is brought to a horizontal position, the operator closes the door and releases it from lifting platform.
The system prints a scales note.
The scale is verified and marked by The State Agency of Meteorology and Technical Supervision. It has all necessary certificates for commercial purposes.
A 20 ‘container is positioned and stuffed for an average of 15 minutes. Then the container is ready for expedition.
